When I was little I LOVED writing. I remember at the age of five litrally begging my parents to buy me a writing desk. I remember walking downstairs to find an old school desk sat in the living room and I almost wet my pants with excitement. I used to sit at that desk for hours writing my own versions of the funny bones books. I was also obsessed with making rooms pretty. I remember at the age of ten being adament I could rip up the carpet in my room and restore the old wooden flooring (which my parents eventually caved and helped me do as I was only ten after all). My mum always thought I would either become a writer or something to do with home design/architecture.
Well fast forward to now at the age of 25 and somehow exactly that has happened. I run my own home decor blog that has succeeded in ways I could never have imagined, with over 4 million people using my Pinterest every month for ideas.
I write my very own monthly column in the Bury Free Press, Newmarket Journal, Haverhill Echo, Suffolk Free Press and an occasional spot in the Diss Express and Velvet Magazine.
I created TWUSS back in 2015 when I was studying my degree in London. I spent months traveling around to different cafes to sit in and write my dissertation in. As most students do, I found myself procrastinating on what I was supposed to be writing about and found myself analyzing the design of the stunning cafes I found myself in daily. I started to write about the interiors and photograph them as I found the tiny details in hospitality design enticing.
Creating TWUSS was an outlet for me to publish my procrastination material and finally, I had found my writing niche. Step forward to now and somehow TWUSS has blown up.
