Bedroom update!! Boob light out 👋end tables in, and scones up! Now all that’s left is a DIY headboard. (I think I just heard my husband start the car 😂). Feeling zen in here and I’m not mad about it. Not one little bit. Happy hump day!

Slowly been chipping away at our 4yos room. We got rid of his antique spindle bed because it was a weird size and meant we needed an antique mattress and we’ll, it just wasn’t comfy for anyone. Insert no sleep ever. Loving this twin bed and @endy mattress. It adds more room to play, and is a million times comfier than the old one. Here’s to way more sleep in 2020, right? RIGHT? TADAAAAA! I can’t tell you how badly I wanted the urban outfitters cane cupboard, but when I saw this 120 year old cutie in the window of a vintage “junk” store I knew I could dupe my own version for way less $$. I used jute burlap instead of caning, popped out the boards and sanded her down and man she sure is pretty! I was worried the burlap might look too farm house but the zen vibe is R E A L. I highlighted the process If you’re interested in seeing the transformation start to finish! Lastly: gold hardware or leave it?

DRUMROLL andddddd ITS DONE! Swipe for the before and after. We cannot get over the transformation.  So much work went into this project and man did we ever learn a lot. New roof, new shiplap siding, painted trim and windows, and new custom doors that Mike and his dad built!
